Day 1 (Monday) - Arrival, Muscat
Today you arrive to Muscat. Our guide will meet you at the airport and drive to the hotel. This day you can relax, explore the downtown and prepare yourself for the next day trip.

Day 2 (Tuesday) - Muscat
Breakfast at the hotel
After breakfast we start our half day tour around Muscat. We first visit Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and continue to one of the best theatres in the world, Royal Opera House Muscat. Driving through Qurum corniche, we enjoy the beauty of the sea side and lovely local villas. Our next stop is a very colourful fish market of old Muttrah, where we can find all kind of fish from the ocean and where local fishermen sell their daily catch. We then walk along Muttrah corniche and visit a traditional Muttrah souq rich in gold, antiques, local dresses, pashminas, spices and plenty of souvenirs.
Our next stop is Old Muscat . We walk on the grounds of Al Alam Palace and look at Al Mirani and Al Jalali forts. At the end of our trip we visit the view point with an impressive panoramic pictures of Indian Ocean before returning to the hotel. .

Day 3 (Wednesday) - Nakhal, Wadi Bani Kharus, Wadi Bani Awf

After breakfast we drive to Bateena and visit a beautiful Nakhal fort. Have a quick stop at the hot springs and move toward to Wadi Bani Kharus to learn about the oldest rocks of Oman and ancient rock arts, some of them are as much as 1500 years old. Wadi Bani Awf is one of the most beautiful and adventurous wadis in Oman and today you have a chance to experience it. Picnic lunch, fresh air, lovely Balad Syed village and an impressive cliffs are just a small part of our journey through this wadi.
Driving to the top of Jebel Shams will give us an unique chance to have a nice shots of the picks and the views of dramatic Oman Grand Canyon. Here we have a short walk before arriving to the resort for the sunset at the top of the mountain.

Day 4 (Thursday) - Jebel Shams, Bahla, Al Hamra, Misfat Al Abryeen

After breakfast we drive down of Jebel Shams and visit Heritage House at Bait Al Safah. Here we learn about daily life of Omani people and enjoy a cup of traditional coffee and tea with dates.
Next point of our interest is Bahla Fort, the UNESCO Heritage site. It was restored in traditional way of building and now stays over the rocks in full glory. We then have lunch at local restaurant with traditional food.
Next part of our day will take us to Misfat Al Abryeen old village where we walk along an ancient falaj system in a pleasant shade of fruit plantations before stop at the traditional stone house for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 (Friday) - Nizwa, Wahiba Sands

Today we have an early wake up, have our breakfast and move to Nizwa for a visit to an impressive Friday Livestock Market. As well, we visit a 17th century Nizwa Fort and its traditional souq of silver, weapons, spices, an Omani sweets and fruits.
Once finish with the market and Fort, we take our way toward to the world famous sands of Wahiba. Here we have a unique possibility to have a visit to a Bedouin family and enjoy their hospitality during a traditional Bedouin lunch. For those who wish to ride a camel, the ship of the desert, the family will offer their own ones. After riding the camels, we then drive to the desert camp, relax in the sands before watching a beautiful sunset over the dunes..

Day 6 (Saturday) - Wadi Bani Khalid, Ras Al Jinz, Sur

After breakfast we drive to Wadi Bani Khalid. It is our next stop where we can enjoy swimming in a fresh waters, explore the secrets of Mukal cave and have a tasty lunch before arriving to Sur by afternoon time.
We have our dinner at the hotel and then drive to Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve for a guided tour to watch green turtles laying their eggs in the nests. Return to the hotel before midnight.

Day 7 (Sunday) - Qalkhat, Wadi Tiwi, Wadi Shab, Sink Hole, Muscat
Breakfast at the Resort. Check out.
After breakfast we stop an ancient city of Qalhat and have an adventurous driving in Wadi Tiwi, full of lush palm plantations and springs. After our lunch at local restaurant, we take a hike in Wadi Shab and swim in a fresh pools to the hidden cavern with waterfall. On our way back to Muscat we stop at the Sink Hole in Bammah.

Day 8 (Monday) - Muscat

Transfer to the airport for departure flight home (extend your stay in Oman).

Useful Tip:
This tour operates with 4WD car. It can accommodates maximum of 4 passengers and 1 tour guide-driver.
For the Grand Mosque visit, ladies should wear a long trousers/skirt, blouse with full sleeves and scarf. Transparent cloths - not allowed!
Men can wear a casual dress. Shorts are not allowed.
For the duration of whole tour, and in respect to a local culture, it is advisable to wear a comfortable cotton cloths and a good walking shoes.
During winter time (December, January and February) you will need some warm jackets, hat and gloves as it is a bit cold in the mountains and desert in the nights.
