The Sun mountain    Full day tour to Nizwa, Jebel Shams and Tanuf
Today's tour is a great combination of ancient history, wildlife and nature.
We first visit 17th century Nizwa Fort and the famous silver and pottery markets.
Second part of our trip will be Jebel Shams. Local Omani people call it  Sun mountain as you can watch a beautiful sunrise and sunset from it's top.  Its soaring peaks, deep ravines and geological features are unforgettabel images. This place is really unique. When you are here, you feel yourself at the end of the world. It is breathtaken!

At the end of our trip we will visit ruined village of old Tanuf bombed by British army during Jabal Akhdar war in 1950-58 and an ancient city of Birkat Al Mouaz with its falaj system before return back to Muscat.

Tip:
Please make sure to wear a comfortable shoes and cotton cloths. Sun glasses and a hat are compulsory.
Children over 10 years old are welcomed and should be accompanied by their parents.
