The Green mountain Full day tour to Nizwa and Jebel Al Akhdar
Today's tour is a great combination of ancient history, wildlife, nature and traditional Omani culture.
We first visit 17th century Nizwa Fort and the famous silver and pottery markets.
Second part of our trip will Jebel Al Akhdar, the green mountain and the center of Omani mountain's range. The presence and grandeur of the Jebel Al Akhdar is apparent to all its visitors. Its soaring peaks, deep ravines and geological features are unforgettabel images.
At the end of our trip we will visit an ancient city of Birkat Al Mouaz with its falaj system before return back to Muscat.
The best time to visit Jebel Akhdar is from March to October. From November to February is winter season in the mountains and most of the plants are dry.
